Mandy Terrill currently serves as the Associate Chief Information Officer for Research at UCSF. With a rich background in business analysis, project management, and the oversight of software development lifecycles, Mandy has been managing and leading IT teams at various levels since 2009.

Her professional journey includes directing Project Management Offices at both statewide and institutional levels, where she spearheaded the implementation of diverse infrastructures and numerous state wide projects and programs. Mandy’s leadership extended to serving as the director of an advanced computing center and research applications systems. In this role, she was responsible for building and maintaining research systems tailored for academic medical institutes and supporting robust research infrastructures. Mandy’s commitment to fostering team building and collaboration is a cornerstone of her management philosophy, which she views as essential to the success of any organization. Her extensive experience also encompasses collaborating with faculty on several significant research projects and system implementations across state and national boundaries, further highlighting her comprehensive expertise in enhancing research capabilities through innovative IT solutions.
