Riley Bove, MD

Associate Professor, Neurology; Rosenberg Ach Family Endowed Professorship in Neuroimmunology

Dr. Bove is a physician-scientist with a background in neurology, precision medicine and women’s health, and a practicing board-certified neurologist working in Neuroimmunology (MS). She studied Medical and Physical Anthropology at Harvard College, and got her MD and MMSc at Harvard Medical School. She did her Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in Neuroimmunology at MassGeneral Brigham. Her research aims to improve the application of precision medicine to individuals with neurological conditions and concerns across their lifespan, including during pregnancy and menopause.

Research Overview:

Dr. Bove’s Lab leverages innovations in digital phenotyping, computational methods and implementation science to develop multimodal approaches to tracking and treating neurological conditions, particularly MS. Her Lab also leverages biosampling and EHR-enabled research to advance our understanding of how reproductive transitions (pregnancy, menopause) influence brain function in health and disease.
