Rick Larsen

Rick Larsen is the Director of Research Informatics at UCSF. At UCSF Rick leads
the development and support of research data assets and analytic tools that
support UCSF’s research mission. Rick has spent his career working as a
healthcare technology professional. Over the past 30 years Rick has worked for
software vendors leading the development of EHR, clinical trial and research
informatics solutions. Prior to UCSF Rick was the Chief Information Officer for
Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) where he oversaw the informatics and
development teams to provide solutions that addressed the research
requirements for HSSC and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
